  1. American *Football*. And yes - I do know the difference..

Oh - and have a free Capslock key - yours appears to be broken.

  2. Having been born there I don't view it with quite the same affection..

But then my parents had the good sense to leave before I got infected
with the accent so I grew up with a proper home counties/Norf Lunnon
    accent.
It's probably just your hearing going. All those horrible noisy race
    bikes y'know.

I see from the Midlands BBC news that you have to use a fingerprint scan
to get in to Mechu[1] now.

Someone else can do to the amusing, young canine dating agency, dress
    code follow ups.

[1] Presumably intended to sound like "Meet You".

This isn't your standard shiney nylon Ingurland shirt - it's just a blue
cotton t-shirt, with collar and a 1960s-style Italian flag on it.

    Which is, IMHO, very different.

  5. Thats the issue then the flag , if you had traveled 10 minutes in any
direction you would have found some fantasic places , unfortunatly
broad st is one of the main in spots for the clubbing scene with the
usual spilling out fighting routine every friday and saturday night so
they come down hard on the dress code

you could have walked to the chinese quarter , nice pubs to suite any
taste thier and far more sensible door staff , some nice restaurants
    down thier as well

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

  7. I used to have a brummie accent, what being a brummie and all that.
Hearing it now tends to make me cringe purely because it just sounds so
"I tried to learn this language but failed".

Brummies sound thick. Even the educated ones.

<Thinks out loud> It's probably just a regional accent thing. Scousers
and Mancs sound stupid as well. There's a few geordies living here. I
don't understand a word they say.
