We went for a look around this afternoon and I was surprised how much
there is to see there. I thought it was just the code breaking stuff
and we'd be finished in about an hour but you could easily send half a
day there if you wanted to look at everything.

At a tenner per person it's well worth the visit but I'm getting
worried about my age after visiting an exhibition 2 weekends in a row.

You'll be going to the park next, with a blanket, Thermos & bag of bread to
feed the ducks. Without a grandchild in tow.

I'd be more likely to go to the embankment to feed the ducks than the
park but I get your point. ****.

Was the earlier exhibition a history of Wether's toffees?

R100/101 exhibition and I don't know if the others took offerings or
    not.

The high point of the day was TOG shouting across the road to tell me
I was an utter **** while he was being attacked by an Indian waiter
that I'd upset. I'm sure that one or two regular posters will know
exactly what I'd done to upset the waiter.

thanks - I've been wondering about whether it's worth going for a few
months now, and you've tipped the balance.

Definately worth it. fascinating place. Grandpa Buzby used to work for
the GPO and regularly used to disappear up there - we assume he was
doing something with communications but he'd refused to say. Too late
    now.

Nope. I'll probably stop when it fails to get a reaction but until
then I look on it as valuable research.

Let me know if you fancy stopping over for beers & food if you go on
a weekend. We're only about 20 miles from there and pretty much
directly on your route if you use the A1.

Curry next Friday night? You play the dumb foreigner when they start
to accuse you of fucking them around.

well, having now booked my flights to the Land of the Free (bizarrely
travelling to Colorado via Texas), I'm unavailable for the next 3
weekends, but at the start of December for sure.

Just let one of us know when you're going and if you want to stop then
    consider it sorted.

I'm playing on a submarine on Monday then back in the office the rest
of the week so should be able to get away from there at lunchtime and
    home soon after 5pm.
Nobody gets hurt unless they trip when they're running.

It was about the first thing I did after moving to Oxford. It probably is
    worth another visit sometime.
