Very perceptive. Almost exactly what a new one was in 1993.

Classic dealer prices. They mean nothing. The only classic Jap dealer
I've come across who seems sane, knows exactly what he's selling, and
sells for realist prices is Oxford Classic Honda. The rest are shite and
    shysters.

I used to walk past the Gilera dealership in Turgi on Sunday
afternoons in 1989/90 on the way home from PSI, after taking a PTT bus to
Brugg and an SBB train from there, before crossing the Aare and facing the
steep climb up to Untersiggenthal[1]. ISTR that was about the price in CHF
    then.

[1] After six months or so I was able to do the climb[2] without stopping
    for breath.
