bloody pets

One of my pet rats had spent an awful long time under my bed keeping quiet,

When I looked, the little fucker is sat there merrily munching her way
through a bar of soap, how the hell she got it from the bathroom shelf to
the bedroom I dont know,

She's eaten almost half of it (it's imperial leather, so not a massive bar,
but she must have eaten half her weight in soap)

I'm not too fussed as these rats can eat anything, and all rats test new
things before they eat them (they have flaps inside their mouth that seal
off front incisors from the rest of their mouth, so they can test nibble
things to see if they are poisonous, and none of the stuff they are nibbling
will go down their throat, they will test nibble then wait a while to see if
they get any reaction, if they do they'll never go near said item again in
their lives, and will teach their cage/colony mates not to do so either, )

So she's obviously decided a bar of soap is the ideal free range time treat,

What I want to know is... what food is guaranteed to make you fart??? as I
want to feed her some and watch her fart bubbles tomorrow,
Shame rats cant burp, or a drink of pop might have got a similar result.

 

According to Nige, a pot noodle should do it, although be careful.

Don't own any pot noodles, and don't want to traumatize them with the smell
of one,

I did give them a pot of baked beans, but the one who ate the soap licked
the bean juice off the actual beans, and the others ate the beans.

She's started producing ivory colored turds now tho, wonder if I should list
them on ebay as genuine miniature imperial leather soap bars, or ultra rare
pigmy albino elephant turds?
