Well, I have been watching the rain fall in the catchment areas as well, and
it's been coming down nicely. Would you rather me say "haha, I live in a
city, I don't give a ****, the country can parch itself to death. ah ha ha
... ah ha ha .. ah ha ha ha ha, so **** you all!"

No, I don't live in the catchment area, or the country, but I do understand
that we need the rain for both the water levels and general well being of
the farms/crops etc etc. When I say "We need the rain" I mean it, I don't
mean I need the rain to wash away the dust of my BMW X5 or some shit (which
I don't own, but you get the idea).

Oh yeah, go fuckyourself.

I dunno, perhaps plants, grass, n most living things outside enjoy a bit of
water like the rest of us. The cities in most areas still need rain in
general. The water supply is a different matter.

And no, I haven't, nor do I expect to.

People in towns and cities in NSW and Victoria along the Murray River
recycle its water through their kidneys, and it's recycled again through the
taps in Adelaide - something which gives me a good deal of satisfaction.
