Anybody used them? What are they like for sound, fit, longevity, etc.?

There are a couple of sets on eBay at the moment that might suit
    something in my garage soon...

I had a Blue Flame Carbon/Kevlar exhaust on the 'blade - it sounded
pretty fruity without being mental-loud, and it was fine for the 5
    years I owned the bike.

Sounds good. I'm not bothered about whether it's strictly road-legal or
not, but I really don't want to buy a second-hand set and have them fall
apart before the end of the summer.

nah, I think build-quality-wise they're pretty good, though I would
say that the Ti Remus cans I had on the TRX were by far the best put
together aftermarket kit I've had on any bike.

    I had carbon Remus and then Ti Remus on the race bike and agree;
    they're
much better than anything else I've seen or used, and that includes
Termi, Scorpion, Yoshi and Blue Flame stuff.

Hmmm... the Elefant's got a carbon-fibre Remus, and I'm not overly
convinced about how long it's going to last.

Then again, that might have something to do with the Persuading Stick I
used on the end of it to encourage the connector pipe to fit over a
    shimmed worn-out gasket...

The Remus on the BMW barks like a fucker & sounds great. Nicely made, too.
