The Pink Ribbon ride in Sydney was a whole lotta fun, with thanks to CrazyCam for lending me Bluey so that I could be a rider instead of a pillion this year. It's been about 2.5 years since I rode on the road last and the only riding I've done since then has been the occassional track day when I can. While my track bike (Honda RS125 gp) is miles different to Bluey (trick Z50!) they had one thing in common - adrenalin rush factor I had the same mental "WoooaAhhhh!!!" happening today whilst bouncing around on Bluey as I did when I first rode the 125, out pit exit at EC when the power band kicked in. Not only was it fun and adrenalin rushes for me, but for all those around - Daron with his spousal concern, and for the 3 to 4 bikes following me it was a mixture of entertainment or fear, depending on their perspective on things Bluey *sounds* like a dream with his Yoshimura pipe and really does perform like a petite go-getter R1. (Not that I've ever ridden an R1 but I believe this is called poetic licence The torque of the machine is astounding - For those of you who know that steep hill climb just out of Wallacia, Bluey managed it in top (4th) gear and easily powered along at 60km/h. I can't even do that in my car (1995 Festiva trio), I always have to drop back to 3rd gear! I've never ridden a bike with such smooth, swift gear changing ability before!!! It wasn't til the second leg of the course that I really bonded with Bluey's sensitive steering/handling .... words cannot explain the experience (Had to be there, *hint*hint*!) but by the time the helmet came off again, I was a gibbering mess with a huge smile smacked across my face )))) Thanks again, Cam, for such a unforgettable, exciting, nerve-racking, FUN experience on such a fantastic 'petite' motorsickle! (remove the pickle and no tickle-me-elmos - who wrote that song anyways?) Also a big public Thankyou on behalf of the Cancer Council (Breast Cancer awareness) for those who sponsered me via Donations, which totalled $65. The donation component raised in excess of $19,000 today. Excellent effort for everyone involved. I'm sure there are pictures up about somewhere... enjoy them as we enjoyed the day Cheers, Bren (aka mulberry) (very sore and still very hyped!)

My pleasure. Imagine what it would be like if we had had the time and bits to re-gear him and reset the suspension to suit your size and weight. BTW, I deliberately didn't follow you about...... I thought it might make you nervous! ;-) He is geared to haul my 83 kilos about...._and_ lots more frontal area/wind resistance. Yup! I was kinda clear that you were having fun. regards, CrazyCam
"CrazyCam" wrote I am perplexed that people seem to be more impressed by Helen's 36" chest than by my 38" chest. Theo
