Just quoted me £350 FC for the K1100 with 8 years NCB.

Which parallel dimension are they living in?

The Duke costs me under £150 FC, so I may have to give Auntie Carole a
    call about a multi-bike policy.

I have no idea. Maybe I'm not the kind of customer they want!

I wasn't expecting that - I did a quote without NCB first - came in at
    nearly 600 quid.

I was really expecting sub-£200 on an older K1100LT at my age - with the
bike garaged in a low risk area.

Or maybe they're just not in the market for old bikes.

But it's BMW insurance, so bound to be far more reliable, and it'll
make your bike do 90 mpg as well as ridding you of the smell of stale
    piss and mints.

    You know you want it.

    Carole Nash:

If I can persuade them to use my Duke's NCB (insured with them, too) -
    £114.

    Without my NCB - £177.

Where the hell did BMW Insurance get their figures from?

Pah. That's nothing. Ducati's scheme quoted me £8000 FC on a Monster a
    few years back.

If you are an AA member try their multibike policy. 150 for my 3 bikes,
OK so no litrebikes but a decent deal via Royal&Sun including legal cover
    and CIHAGM.
The tesco compare webshite is also worth a good try.
