Does anyone know off hand if the K100 and K75 both had the same rear
    shock?

    In

yes 8 valve K100's and the K75 range had the same rear shock. The K75S
had front "sports" forks that were also fitted to some K100RS's

According to Motorworks, yes. All second hand ones will be fucked.

Well the dampers might be. The Boge part is surprisingly cheap though.

Except perhaps for the one I have here with a mere 1173 miles on it.
Stored nicely wrapped up in the dry :)

    Oops.

To be honest I'd forgotten all about it. I went into the loft looking
for the Progressive Suspension K fork springs (which I didn't find) so I
could shove them on Ebay and came down with the shock.

So, as you've bought one recently, what's an almost new one worth?

I'm sorry I just didn't know I still had it.

Anyway, I have had an e-mail asking what I would sell it for and pull it
from the ebay auction. Normally I wouldn't entertain such a thought but
as it's my father's and have an obligation to maximise profit rather
than take the moral high ground, what would be a reasonable price to ask
for it (especially as I have already had a bid in at the opening price
of £40) to pull it from he auction?

    In

if you can find one they seem to go for 80 quid with
    motorworks/sherlocks as a complete unit.
