In communiqué <1hmj2fm.e82ubkjwby1hN%>, The Older <pencils in to diary> Had a v. pleasant short break (5 day shuttle ticket) to Compiegne and Reims in 95 on the Morini K2. Got stopped by a random breathalyser check on the Sunday afternoon on the road to Pierrefonds chateau where all the motards congregate. Nearly spoilt by the K2 going on to one pot. Having already had to replace the alternator stator when I first got it (lovely bike cosmetically and was fine at first) I had taken the precaution of packing some spare ignition bits robbed off the 2C/375. Ended up limping in to the car park of a 'Mr Bed' and trying permutations of sensors and transducers until I discovered the mix of early and late versions that gave me a spark on both plugs. The armistice clearing near Compiegne was worth a visit. -- +-----------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pete Fisher at Home: | | Voxan Roadster Moto Guzzi Mille GT/Squire RS3 Gilera Nordwest | | Gilera GFR Moto Morini 2C/375 | +-----------------------------------------------------------------+
The Older Gentleman says... Take the gun turret and rocket launchers off, remove the tracks and it should squeeze into a double garage.
