I wrote to this newsgroup a couple of weeks ago. Well I've done it - put my order in for a new indigo blue K1200S. Took one for a test ride a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Heaps different to my current ride, a Harley Deuce. I'd read a stack of ride reviews and they were all very positive and the test ride made my mind up for me. I'll take it easy for the first few weeks getting used to ride, but then intend on touring with some fun along the way. Bike ordered with the electronic suspension adjustment and sports panniers - my only problem is the wait for it to arrive is over 2 months!!! If anyone else owns one, or had a test ride, let me know your thoughts.
