"This new sports Boxer shares little with its predecessor and will
neatly fill the gap between BMW Motorrad’s four-cylinder K1200 S and
single cylinder F800 S sports bikes."

I could have sworn the F800 was a twin!

    What the .. ?

"This new sports Boxer shares little with its predecessor and will

Huh ? The 800s were supposed to be parallel twins.

If BMW are releasing an 800cc single sports bike I'm interested !

(assuming they've taken advantage of the opportunity to make it light
    weight)

Not particularly pretty but 190Kg dry and a 122HP puts it in the right
ballpark for performance. If the BMW designers would slow down on
illegal substances they'd sell better. Some colour options other than
baby spew yellow and 70's Yamaha race bike paint schemes would be good.

Having the ohlins as an optional extra is a good move.

I wouldn't buy one, but it's moved a helluva lot closer to a possibility
(dunno if I'm their target market, I suspect I am though)

  10. BMW have never been able to do modern motorcycle graphics. The only decent
thing that way was the R90S with the fogged edges on the paint Anything
they made since then that wasn't a single colour was a shamples.

Don't tell me you aren't a fan of the bright red and yellow K1 BMW graphics!

  17. I'd have to agree with you there, Sharks. Yours is the third 100GS I've
seen with that scheme. The one I used to own was the first I seen.
