    Hi,
I got a Dunlop 220 tire on the back of my RT 1200, it has done 4200klm and
is down on the legal limit, bit poor I thought compared to my RT 1150 which
used to get around 11000klm the way I treated it, mind you that was on
Michelin and Bridgestone's. Anyone got any suggestions for a rear tire for
these beasties that will get me further than a paltry 5k odd??

What have you been doing to it? I put Dunlop 220s on the back of my
    ZX12R because the original D208 only lasted 5000km. I got 6-7000 km
from a D220 on the 12R. Have you been running it under inflated or
    something?

No, not running it underinflated, most of my riding though is two up with
luggage, and I do tend to errrrr, get stuck into it a bit..............

Yes, it does have a bit, and no doubt one of these days BMW will manage
to squeeze as much torque out of a 1200cc twin that Kawasaki can get out
    of their 1200cc four.
