Bandit shock has finally called it a day and is doing an absolutely
wonderful Zebedee impression. Anyone got a good one they no longer need?

 

Look for a Hyabusa one on ebay....

Wrong length and won't go between the dog-bones. Also the resevoir snags
the battery box. You might by now have realised that a Hyabusa one has
already been tried by someone else, as has a Gixer Thou K1/2 and an
RF900 shock by myself. None of them are suitable

I cured it anyway, with an almost new shock from a 2006 model 650 Bandit
that I got complete with linkages for 30 quid. I need to make new longer
dog-bones to bring the seat height down by around 2 inches though.
