I'm toying with the idea of taking the 250 instead of the 10R. Does
anyone want to influence the decision making process by reserving a go
on it on the Sunday morning?

Champ saying he wants a go will push me towards taking the 10R.

I shall be taking the Guzzi although predicting whether that weekend will
be free is a bit tricky.

If it is and if I'm there those who want to experience a proper bike can.

By proper bike I mean unrefined, alarmingly noisy, surprisingly small and
    slow. A bit windy too.

I might well take you up on that.

If you make it up there I'll make you laugh by telling you about a
job I've done recently where the customer would have had an absolute
fit if they'd known who the **** was that fixed their piece of wanked
    out old rubbish.

Heh. I'm not stupid enough to be caught like that twice. The best bit
was that they filmed some of the work being carried out but I wasn't
wearing overalls with my name on them :)

Ye-hah! just got the pass out, so I too will be coming on my Guzzi.

The only way I could describe riding that Guzzi is that it's like playing
leapfrog with someone who has really bad Parkinsons.

Yeah, cos "fixed by skeletor" doesn't narrow it down.

You've made a valid point there but the people in question never knew
what the subject of their hatred looked like.

Not entirely sure I get that but if it helps Daz described following it
as "worrying" because "the shapes it makes are not right".

I'm /normally/ quite good with surreal imagery but unfortunately ...

It's not really. Not unless you're a bit of an anorak who gets
decidedly anal about people slagging off your favourite toys. I
daren't name where the anoraks hang out because last time I did that
    it nearly got me sacked.

Gwan then, i'll have another go. I was stuck behind a horsebox and
didn't want to startle the poor nag by gassing it past ;-)

Fook, I felt like that on the matchless.

Now, which side was the gear lever on ... is it in gear yet ... are any
    of the brakes working ..

I'd just like to see Monz have another go on the 250, and get some
photographic evidence of it this time.

How goes it? Had fun hooning about of it?
