    Pixie fest, followed by 'roof sealing' fest ..

    Yes, dear.
    I can see a PixieFest occurring, within the next few months. The roof,
    I hope, will be sealed by then.

    At some point, somebody has laid felt(?) across the dodgy bits and
    sealed it with bitumen. Now there's a coat of old sticky black paint
    on it, all the stretch marks and nasty little holes have become
    apparent. Three hours this afternoon, spreading two sealant-gun-type
    tubes of silicone sealant into and over the said tears should do the
    business, I hope. Another coat of sticky old white (better for the
    heat reflection) paint will help confirm this - by not appearing,
    running down the inside of the wall - as the black did.
    You're right, I do. I'll go and do it now.

    Blimey, you turn your back on the place for 5 minutes and everything
    changes - since when did you get affected by 50s? Or is this a
    different Ginge from the one I remember?
