Because of personal 'things' that have taken priority in my life.

Play nicely, children, because I will be back at some point.

Yes but when are you going to send out those forms for the track day,
    you ****.

Are we to expect a Madame Lozzo post in the near future?

Right - I'm not about to have my dick removed, not by choice anyway.

Basically, I have family things I need to come to terms with. Last week
I had fairly serious news on a personal level, not anything to do with
my own health I hasten to add, then to cap it all my dad announced he
has quite advanced cancer. As many know I don't see eye to eye with him,
so I think it's time to bury the past, clear the decks and become a
proper son again, not just the child he fathered. Both bits of news have
hit me quite hard and my head's a total shed at the moment.

I will be at the Mallory track-day that I organised come hell or high
water, but I'm not sure if I'll be out on track, that all depends on
    other things.

I will also still be doing the initial organising of the EOSM, but I may
not actually be there on the weekend, that too depends on other things.

That's majorly crap on many levels, but you're handling it in exactly
the right way imo. Best of luck.

Sounds like having your dick chopped off might have been the less
painful option. You take care mate.

As one gets older life events do seem to have a habit of stacking up in
    particularly distressing combinations.

Glad to hear you are going to reconsider your relationship with your
dad. I was in a slightly similar position , but nothing like as extreme
a falling out as you seem to have had. When the chips are down though
you tend to see things in a different light.

I enjoyed chatting with you briefly at the LDM about seat heights etc.
    Best of luck.

I know it carries it's own burden but I was relived to hear it wasn't
    the TIA gone wrong anyway.
Christ you *still* have that gixxer!

Whatever the problems are Loz, best of fortune.

My old man died when I was just 7. I'd do anything to have him back.
    Get it sorted.

    Luck.

Of course I still have the Gixer, it's my physiotherapy for my brain.

It's looking better than ever too, but I thought the 15mm lower Gilles
clip-ons were maybe a bit too extreme so they didn't get fitted.
