Boxer engines VS V4 engines and IL4s

I heard recently that the opposed twin motors, like the BMW Boxer and the
similar Moto-Guzzi are not racing in Moto-GP because they do not want to
humiliate Rossi and Yamaha, or to make Honda and it's V4 technology non
    competitive.

Because shaft driven motors are incapable of doing wheelies, they put down a
tremendous amount of raw power at the wheel, making it impossible to beat
    under any circumstances.

It is rumoured that Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha have made huge secret
cash contributions to BMW and MotoGuzzi, to keep them from entering the
    Moto-GP and Superbike races.
None of them could bear the shame of losing to an old airhead at any of the
prestigoius world venues, so they have done all they can to keep this from
    happening.
I think this information was attributed to a reliable source close to Judith
Miller of the New York Times.

  2. Can't be, there's no mention of Weapons of Mass Destruction(tm), of
which BMW and Moto-Guzzi have tons, tons I say, of those evil WMD's.
Why, it is known that BMW approached an African nation to buy oodles and
oodles of yellowcake (as vs. chocolate cake)...

Clearly, the only answer is to invade BMW and Moto-Guzzi.

Yeah, this is why BMW has all the those drag race records.
Not to say they don't have an impressive number of side-car records and
given enough distance can build impressive speed.

My guess Honda's answer to a BMW Moto-GP challenge would be to start
racing GL-1000s with a race faring.
