  1. I was riding around Sunnybank last Friday and called into a Chinese place in
Mains Road where there was a BMW outside, thought that it might be you and
get the chance of meeting up with you, but when I went inside, all the
images of a big bad BMW rider went out the window, which by the way, was
closed because it wasn't an opening window at all, however, all I saw with
riding gear, was a blonde girl, so I got talking to her and asked if she
knew anyone in the area who rode a BMW, she said she knew of a few, but
    didn't mingle.
However, the conversation went from bikes to cars and other things in
general and she asked me back to her place to look at a couple of cars she
    had in the hay shed.
Anyone thinking of anything dirty here about a roll in the hay, let me tell
you here and now, nothing like that was on my mind at all
    Well, not all the time.............
I know this is predominately a bike group, but when I got there, she showed
me these two cars, which she was saying she was thinking of selling but
didn't know how much to ask.
One was canary yellow with black stripes and the other was a burnt orange
    colour.
Both were coupes and when I work out this new version of Windows 7, I will
post photos if anyone is interested

Also, just wondering if you had ever seen her around the area, if you do,
her name is Lynne and I don't know much about BM's so don't know what model
it is, last BM I rode was when I took one up for registration for Peter
Stevens and it was a dog of a bike, ex police jobbie

A Chinese place in Mains Road Sunnybank, well that narrows it down to a
    hundred or so.

The way a lot of overseas students drive around here you wont find me riding
too much locally, I tend to take the Kombi up the shops as it has bull bars
    front and back.

  4. So sorry for that confusing post, but the Chinese takeaway in Mains road
about opposite the BP service station on Musgrave Street corner

Anyway, in that area whichever shop it is and I agree, it seems to be
    predominately Asian

As does the description of two "coupes"...
Having (unfortunately) live near Sunnybank for a short time, I have to
admit you're absolutely right about the general driving standards in that
town. I saw some incredibly bad driving there. All one has to do is find
a car park there, sit back and watch.

I have an aunt and uncle who live in a spot on Sydney's Northern
Beaches which is a bit like the Bermuda Triangle. There's three
or four or more nursing homes within a mile radius of their home. A
lot of the folks who live in the nursing homes have, gawd knows
how, those restricted driver's licenses that allow them to drive
only within a ten mile radius of where they live. And drive they
do (in a manner of speaking)! My Uncle's take on the situation
is that when he's driving around his on neighbourhood, the other
vehicle has right of way. Always.
