  1. This is the link for the cars that Lynne had in her hay shed,

    http://photobucket.com/frosty42

The photos are not the best as I took them with my phone camera

And I forgot to get her mobile phone number because of what I was seeing,
both the cars and the owner
I went into another shed hoping to find an old bike or five, but there was
only one other, an old BMW R50/5 which looked rather unusual because the
frame looked like a rigid frame, but with shockers and it had a weird
trailing link style front forks, didn't get any photos of the bikes , flat
    battery on the phone,
And there was a lot of horse gear, she must like riding as she had nice
    looking thighs.

But, if you happen to see her around the area, a black BMW older model an
    R75/5

  2. Only thing I could see wrong with the pacer was a flat tyre and covered in
    dust

  3. It is an XB GT351 supposedly genuine as she said all numbers matched
    although I didn't take a close look,
but the bonnet wasn't the original, it had been replaced with one of a
standard car and has rust all over it, which she is not that worried about
as she said she would replace it with a genuine article, but the rest of the
car has no rust, even in the usual Ford places, rear of the guards , under
the doors, around the back window and a few other places, but this car has
    none of that at all.

They sag when you open both doors at once. Wouldn't have one as a
    gift.

  6. Okay, point taken,
thought it was a Pacer because of the 2 door and it wasn't a Charger

Not if done properly. I had a 1969 Dodge Pheonix converted by Chop Top in
Sydney, you could have 5 POB and open all 4 doors with no sag. One of those
vehicles I wish I had never sold, my son is really cranky with me for
getting rid of it. Mind you at 8-10mpg it was a luxury outing, but it was a
    big beautiful whale.

  9. You like that Gerry?,
almost as good as you when you change the topic on a post in motorcycles and
turn it into a psychological depression session.

    Is that a "1969 Dodge Phoenix 1967 Valiant/Regal" ?
Theo's comment far as I can see was specifically relating to that
vehicle. It's kinda like someone saying they don't want a rose because
they have thorns, and you saying "but my dandelion doesn't!".

Ta for the hint, I didn't know that but even so the 2 vehicles are 2
years apart in models .. tho I guess even then we were 2 years behind
    the americans ? :)

Well you could say that, but the Dodge is a larger version of the Valiant,
say like a larger rose. Theo's objection is no doubt due to encounters with
badly done conversions that did not strengthen the subframe sufficiently to
compensate for the removal of the roof which provides significant strength
and rigidity to the vehicle. Even factory rag tops have some flex compared
to the hard top variant, this may not be true of high end vehicles, I have
    no experience of them.

Car makers give cars a new set of tail and headlights every 2 years and
a body update every 10 years.. probably best you stop digging.

Not only, but also - the Valiant ute of the early seventies was badged as a
    Dodge.
