It really amazes me when someone puts something for sale on ebay,

you, boxer, have gone to great lengths to relate to all what is in the bike and
almost every little detail about the bike,
yet you have only one piddly little photo

With all your effort you have put into the ad, you could have put at least 6 photos
up

 

"Copy" and "Paste" are alien concepts to you too eh George?

I was almost going to say that sometimes you amaze me with your little snide remarks
and notations, but then again, it is you and I am not amazed at all.

I was giving boxer a bit of credit with putting up a good description of the bike,
but chastising him for not putting more photos
and you come along with a "copy and paste" notation which has got nothing to do with
what I said.

A miserable few dollars to highlight something is surely worth the effort and cost
I have noticed that some items with only one photo, do not get as many bids if any
bids at all

Would you buy something for $4000 with only one photo to appraise it?

George, you're an idiot and you're trying to make an idiotic point.
I'll bet you that Boxer banged that ad together in about 2 minutes as a spur
of the moment thing after mentioning the bike in another thread.
He used the only piccie he had handy on his laptop and did a quick Google
search for a write-up.
It's not life or death; just a toe-in-the-water, test-the-market exercise
and maybe, just maybe, when he gets home he might even wheel it out into the
sunlight and take a few more photos to add to the ad.

Exactly, you can get their e-mail address and send some high resolution
shots, lots of shots on ebay and they just flick over it.

Got it in one Clem, I will take it out in the morning give it a wash (tank
water of course) a polish and take some Art photos. Already got a few
enquiries about sending some high resolution photos. George may not realise
how many bikes I have sold over the past 5 years, I think I know what I am
doing.

Still thinking about PI, trying to line up a free ticket.
