Boy armour - ordering from Knox direct - anyone know if this price is for one or a pair?

Specifically the Knox Cross Knee guard - it says "Knees" but doesn't
actually say anywhere whether or not the price of £34.99 is for one, or for
    a pair.

Anyone ordered these or the elbow equivalents and know how many they send?

I tried ringing their number but apparently the factory is closed for
"annual holidays until 5th September" :)

Bound to be a pair as knee pads are usually 'sided', & it doesn't ask
you to choose left or right.

That's what I thought, but I also thought I'd feel a right lemon if the box
turned up and there was only one inside :)

Yes, but I've always wondered how well those work in terms of physics being
physics - it'll stop your knee twisting but the force still has to go
somewhere... so where does it go? ie what breaks instead? :)
As per the other message - it's not for the road.

  15. IME, the manufacturer's information which should be supplied with CE
marked impact protectors, like the ones from Planet Knox, will point
out that protection from rotational and twisting forces or crushing is
    not provided.

    Krusty says...
Not ime they aren't, and I've sold a hell of a lot of body armour from
lots of manufacturers in my time, Knox included. All the Knox armour
comes as a pair, except back protectors natch.

Dunno if you looked at the link but it's not a CE market IP - it's more for
mountain biking etc and in this case it's a brace with impact protection
    rather than just an IP.

The one in the link is 50% metal :)

The separate strap-on knee pads rather than stuff for sticking in
pockets? I can't remember buying any that weren't sided, although I've
only ever bought the MX variety. A quick Google for the Knox Cross Knee
    shows they are sided though.

    Krusty says...
I'll concede that some armour is sided, but I've never sold any that is.
