Boycott Sturgis!!

    I'm not a Harley rider but if I were I think I'd boycott Sturgis to show the
    people of SD exactly what I think about their attitude toward killing

    I've boycotted Sturgis ever since I found out the event occurred. I
    hate mob scenes, and Sturgis is worth boycotting all on its own.

    Me too...I wouldn't go there if you paid me! I've seen videos, and it
    doesn't look like a good time to me. I hate crowds.

    I'm a rider not a biker... but I'd would still go Sturgis and preach the
    joys of helmets and love of sportbikes... after all this is a free county...

    Would you feel this way if BMW hadn't already been boycotting Sturgis
    for the last 2 years?

    Jim, Never having been to Sturgis, I don't know if BMW is boycotting
    Sturgis, nor do I care. I would have suggested a boycott of SD if the BMW
    national rally were being held there .In fact, I would probably have led
    it. Sturgis is no longer an exclusive HD event as it once was, bikes of all
    makes show up.

    The Janklow sentence was an affront to all riders.I have to wonder what
    the sentence would have been if instead of a motorcycle the Congressman had
    hit a van full of kids. Seems though that everyone chose to overlook the
    point and simply dump on BMW and myself. So be it......Howard
