The Wing has rediscovered its brakes.

The sleeved spacer on the caliper was out of kilter, meaning the
pistons had to "reach" too far. As one was stuck, all was well. Sort
    of.

When it became unstuck, the only retardation available was that
achieved by the pedal dragging on the floor.

They're now both unstuck, and full of fluid.

Pannier back on, CD player in bin.

The CD was the cause of the dead(ish) battery - it kept changing disc,
    even with the ignition off.

Replaced with a £10 mp3 player that plugs into the lighter socket, and
broadcasts on FM to the radio. Works better than I expected. Takes USB
thingies, so can handle loads of different music, and takes up eff all
    space.

    By 'eck it's filthy.

At least I should now be able to collect my compressor from the
    Pipster.
