on the spud (down smee) honda cd250u the master brake cylinder's brake light
just snapped off (breaked) and took half its plastic with it, since its a
bit old and degrading i might replace the whole thing with something newer.

I can put one from any bike on there as long as its a single output correct?
    cb250, vtr250 or what ever?

    thanks

    yep
vtr 250 or cb250 will replace it.
    The parts are interchangeable.
(The clutch lever is off a vtr 250)

ok, i might be able to get a hoda cbr250r master cyl and leaver on the
    cheep?

this would have the same fittings i assume?

wouldnt have any adverse effects, being something on a sports bike, keeping
the same calipers and disk, just a new master?

    cheers
