If you consider being trolled as entertainment.

Mind you, you and TOG seem to - remember that bloke on the classic
newsgroup a while back? You kept crowing about how you were making
him dance, but it looked the other way round to me.

It's OK, he's given us lots of new I-maginings to de-bunk.

Presumably one where you thought you could get away with it and gain the
kudos of owning one of the fastest road bikes available. What a wannabe
    tosser.
To a large extent populated by people who actually know each other IRL and
for whom UKRM is not 'just another internet newsgroup'. Your attitude
betrays you for the trollish prat you are.

The results are usually tedious, for me.
You misunderstand. There's a world of difference between what I
consider the amusing banter and back chat that takes place here, and
the sort of stuff that Des posts. I don't think he's ever even made
    me smile.
My definition is that if someone keeps posting stuff that makes me
feel the need to respond, then I'm being trolled. If you enjoy it,
then fair enough, but I don't.

Oh yeah, right fucking on dude. Nothing so fucking lively as a nice
little discussion of the best angle to file the point on the stick thing
you use to work a palm top is there?

<sigh> I rather miss the Citroen threads, at least they used to
generate a death threat or two every now and then.

No it fucking isn't. I doubt there is more than a hundred of us who
    actually do the IRL thing.

    This is true though.
    As, I fear, is this.

At your age it's not so much or a threat as a promise, surely.

It couldn't have been recently then, there hasn't been any barbed round
here for ages. Although the last week with a desperately Wrigley Des
and mountains of "I told you so" has perked the place up no end.

I miss him too. On here, and as a mate. I often think about phoning
him up, but he's got a bit of downer on me; I think he thinks I was
    nasty to him on here.

    Oh, the irony.

I wouldn't disagree. However, as Windy once said to me, "Tha' shouldn't
dish it out if tha' cannae take it..."

    Or words to that effect.

What percentage of the total posts do you reckon those hundred make? 85%
    ish?
    Is this what? ;-)

Yes but not posts but posters. The stats that Cabs' robot so kindly
provides tell us there are hundreds of individual posters. Pretty much
all of us know a lurker. Potentially thousands of folks read this and
only a few of them actually get out and meat each other with any
regularity. Every time I have gone out in search of danger and
excitement at a ukrm do it has been the same old perm a few dozen from
    the total of faces[1][2].

A smiley I think they call it.

[1] I thought there was a rule about fucking ginges. Everyfuckingwhere
I go to meet and enjoy ukrm there is always a fucking ginge. Sometimes
fucking two!! I am sure we put a stop to this years ago.

[2] I don't do the ride outs so I do miss a complete sub clique.
