At the two hospitals most likely to pick up the debris from the
Stonebridge Park estate and Harlesden? Given the make up of those areas
it's absolutely no surprise that guns were around in the 80s and turned
up at the hospitals.

They believe that being shown respect means they can ask for what they
want and not pay for it. It's a power trip.

They also know their chances of being caught are negligible. Even if
they were caught then the chances of any witnesses being willing to
testify are virtually non existent. This is why simply tightening the
offences relating to gun crime is a waste of time - well except for the
lawyers who'll be paid a fortune to draft the new laws.

Society has to start again in its approach to these issues. Simplistic
"hang 'em and flog 'em" policies will get us nowhere.

 

Well, apart from being a really nice guy his father is a very famous
South African actor and she was working with him at the time in
theatre.

When I used to travel into that area a lot I was shown a graffiti'd wall
on the Stonebridge estate. It showed a running tally of the police
seriously injured there against the crims arrested, the Police score was
always higher. One other incident comes to mind, involving an ambulance
attended a heart attack victim. Within 1 minute of the ambulance crew
entering the house the ambulance was on fire.

Stonebridge Park is also where the remains of my VF750F were found after
it was stolen - it's an utter shithole of a place.
