Paging those wot know British bikes.

Friend of friend reports that his Street Triple R 675 USD forks broke
where they hold the wheel axle. It is sort of a clean cut, on both
bars. He does not remember having hit anything (neither the bars are
bent, whatever). Eventually, a Triumph engineer will inspect them.

He wants to know whether there are known cases of similar issues.
    Thanks, etc.

BTW, looks like the Street * range is becoming popular here among
those who neither want to go mainstream on Jap bikes nor look like
just another twat on a Ducati Monster.

Never heard of anything. The Trip uses Kayaba forks, which have a good
reputation. It could be a one-off manufacturing fault, I suppose.
It's a wonderful bike. I was out on mine last week, for the first time
in a month or two. You forget just how bloody brilliant it is until
    you ride it.
