Looking forward to seeing the result. Will it play 633 Squadron like
    the old one?

    It will.

    Some traditions must be upheld.

I believe it has an mp3 player interface built in.

Or a Zumo 550, Sansa Clip, or a SE 'phone.

  7. I'm surprised you can remember them all. I can't easily/acurately
remember all of the bikes I've owned over the last ten years, let alone
    the previous 20.

I've still got all the bikes I've owned over the last 14 years, apart
from one. Makes remembering much easier.

    Blimey, that's good!

Now a new sprotsbike would be about £8-£10k, so I'd expect a wing to be
a couple of K more, maybe as much as £13-14k.

So that'll make this one £5-£7k when you take the £7k off which isn't
bad for a 4 year old grey import I suppose. Have they got any more? T
suggests that Horse and I should take the Busa to Amalfi in May but I
    think that might kill us.

Is this you trying to convince T that it's affordable?

I can't remember them all, that's the problem. In my late teens/early
twenties I was trading on an amateur basis and was getting through
maybe two or three a week. It's hard enough trying to remember the ones
I've owned over the past ten years

So in real terms you've paid less for this one than you paid for the

    Um. Probably. Almost certainly.

1500 was £13k flat, down from £16,750 list, nearly 14 years ago.

  17. Makes the 1800 an utter bargain.

My local dealer, Sunami, had a mint one in recently. 10k miles, looked
like new, optional extras, had it up for 11 grand. I was sorely
    tempted....

It dawned on me, on the way home from Sainsbury's, that the discount
is more than I paid for the CB1300.

Buy a Gold Wing, and get a second bike free!
