It'll be his way of finding another excuse for an increase in the police
    precept

I imagine his divisional superintendant is already drafting the letter of
commendation and organising the place on the sergeant's course.

From what I hear, Brunstrom is just as unpopular with the ground troops as
he is with the public. He only keeps his job because the police authority
has become infested with NIMBYs and Talevan fundamentalists.

I've noticed whenever I've had chats with ground troops that there's a
definite silence when discussing their leader, the sort of silence that
screams "we agree with you but cannot say so" :)

There are however, lots of Waffen SS types also in the trafpol ranks that
    particularly relish patronising and booking.

I'm stunned how much support he gets from the NWPA, given he forced them all
to undergo DNA testing previously when he was trying to locate the "mole" in
    his organisation.

The like of Brunstrom really make me despair of the whole idea of democracy,
he's unelected, has committed numerous gaffs that would've got an elected
official sacked, yet is as slippery as teflon career wise. I know that the
local MP's have tried to bring him to task several times but he's slithered
away from trouble time after time. NW Plod HQ is in Colwyn Bay, yet CB has
one of the worst records for crime in the region.

The A55 runs through CB, almost at the back garden of plod HQ. Every time I
go through there I religiously stick to the 50 limit in that section yet
everyone else seems happy to be whizzing past me :) The 50 limit is nowt to
do with safety, it's to reduce noise levels as the A55 runs through the
    middle of the town.
