Surely it's perfectly safe if done within the speed limits set by
    nann^H^H^H^H those who know best?

I mean, if it wasn't, surely the government would have passed a law to
make it perfectly safe. Wouldn't they?

The one were you claim that they should not have reported Brunstrom's
meeting for fear of facing an action for defamation?

Interesting to see that the IPCC is now investigating.

Hopefully, Brunstrom's career is about to end.

Just as well, I'd have laughed even louder and longer.

Go on, make up some more stuff, you're funny.

  6. Of course; as long as you don't have any fun doing it and you have
passed a test in Advanced Stair Walking.
But they have, surely? As UniFool would attest; It's The Law.

You'd be content to see him use a picture of the dead body of a
    relative of yours, then?

    Ah...

    I see...

So it's alright as long as you don't get found out?

Good-oh; sounds like a recipe for scrapping speed cameras, doesn't it?

After all, what the eye doesn't see, the obsessives don't grieve over?

Can *anyone* late those consequences, or do you need special permission?

    Many people
So why weren't we all shown them?

Have you ever heard the saying: "When in a hole, stop digging"?

    Was he not unfortunate, then?

The only circumstance in which such a description could not fit would
    be an act of suicide.

What do you know that the rest of us (and his family) don't?

  13. Actually, 110mph is easier to do when you've got a bike/car/vehicle
that'll do well in excess of that.

Who can honestly say that driving/riding at the posted speed limit is an
easy thing to maintain. It's a distracting and painful experience.

Yes OK, Steve, there are obviously some aspects I had not fully appreciated.

I do remember one year (about three or four years ago) our Council Tax
bill showed the police precept to have increased by 76% which certainly
    was an outrage.

    Best wishes all,
    Dave.

He means faster than the speed limit - he's equated the two on numerous
occasions. Despite all his supposed experience & advanced driver
training, he feels incapable of driving safely over the speed limit, &
therefore assumes everyone else is too.

He's the worst type of 'speed kills' puppet - one who has no concept of
different vehicles/drivers abilities or road conditions. To him, 60mph
on a wet NSL in a '70's car towing a caravan at night is safe, 70mph on
a dry NSL in a modern supercar is dangerous,

It isn't the same though. When flying like that, keeping within those
parameters is almost the only thing to think about. You certainly don't need
to be looking out the window because you are generally in controlled
conditions and know there is unlikely to be anyone else there! On a bike and
in a car your prime focus is keeping a lookout and distracting yourself with
the instruments in the way you describe is frankly not sensible.
