Well Kev, in my field (medicine) we had our collective noses rubbed in
it by... well by police officers. Who decided that out use of body
parts, photographs, case histories or even microscope slides without
permission of the next of kin was sufficient reason to give medical
    researchers criminal records.

Now it's coming home to roost, you don't like it. What a surprise that
    is.

    Brunstrom?

Because I don't see any journalist credited for the story. Just a
brainless twat of a chief cunstbubble.

  6. Showing a series of photos designed to shock and upset an audience is
    not the actions of a CC who wishes to win an argument by force of facts;
it is the refuge of a deluded fool who wants to win on force of emotion.

North Wales police have an averagely=crap roads policing record; lots of
tickets issued, fairly similar KSI figures to normal, once you look at
the hospital figures instead of the biased police KSI figures. North
Wales police however also have an abysmal record for clear-up rates of
other crimes, all of which leads one to wonder why the chief constable
    is still in a job.

His roads policing policies are demonstrably no better than average, and
all other areas of his policing are worse. He also has a noted flair for
making a complete tit of himself in public, so one wonders why he hasn't
been replaced by a more pragmatic, more effective and less flamboyant
individual who is more focussed on doing a job and less focussed on
    media attention.

I have to say I disagree. As others have said you don't hold a press
briefing if you don't want publicity. However, I think there is more
to the story than that. The article says that the unfortunate biker
was identified because he was wearing a T shirt with an "Anti-Police
Slogan". I suspect Brunstrom picked this chap rather than any other
accident victim because of the message on his T shirt. That gave him
the opportunity to preach about what happens to the sort of chaps that
disregard speed limits. He needn't have referred to the case in
detail, the innuendo would have sufficed.

This may have been an effective way of getting his message across but
in doing so he has rubbed the victim's family's noses in it. Not
    behaviour befitting a Chief Constable.

Wouldn't bother me. Anyone who acts like a complete arsehole in live
