  2. Not necessarily, and with all due respect, as you weren't there, you do
not know how this was phrased.

  3. No.

Sorry Brimmer, that's a different issue.

It's a matter of principle, the summary destruction of personal
property by the state cannot be condoned. That's what the Nazis did in
Norway, Poland and Czechoslovakia, and the Yanks did in Vietnam.

If you want to know how I would deal with
anti-social-mini-motorcycling start a new thread and I might
contribute. I don't have all the answers but I do know right from
    wrong

These people are supposed to be professionals, they get their
livelyhood from our taxes. I currently earn my living in a completely
different profession I have not had the training which they have had
at public expense in their speciality. This does not mean that I am
not qualified to criticise them when how they perform produces such an
    incredibly crass outcome

It would be best if I continue to do what I am good at and they do
what they are supposed to be doing properly or ship out.

FFS, what about us, the poor cunts that *might* be on the end of some
other fuckers actions? Who gives a ****, death is all around you, I
watched my Dad die a horrible cancer ridden death, It will NOT happen
to me. Where does it end? You care about other folk too much. One day
you could get hit by a fucking plane engine as it plummets to the
earth, or you might get electrocuted. Might is a very big or small word
dependant on your outlook in life.

I could not give a **** about other folk, but having said that, I
wouldn't endanger anyones life on purpose.

Do you actually ride a bike then or what?

I just wondered if some rational explanation might be forthcoming - but
    it doesn't seem likely.

    Best wishes all,

Oh dear what? He is 100% right. How do we know what happened to the
headless horseman? He could have been pulled out on by a car ffs. It's
no gooddd showing a picture of a dead body without any *real* story is
    it?

Brunstrom is an utter fucking tool.

I'm off to North Wales soon, I'm gonna fucking wheelie on the A55,
    fucking rimmer.

Whilst some bikers are fucking idiots, i see nothing wrong with speed.
I mean idiots as in poor lane control, poor positioning, poor road
manners, poor bike control & worst of all riding up the cars arse in
front, you cannot overtake correctly. Speed is fucking good. extreme
speed is even better. Why do you think we (mankind) always want to go
that bit farther, it's in our genes to do so.

'traffic police stop Saturn 5 rocket due to excess speed'

Please don't pontificate about 'controlled conditions' etc, as we all
    know, things can go wrong.

Oh hell!! Much as I support the idea of enjoying driving and having
some fun, I can't go along with that attitude.

    Best wishes all,

It's not necessary to deliberately endanger someone else for them be
involved in you killing yourself. They might be left with injuried that
prevent them living the kind of life they had before, perhaps confined to a
    wheelchair, bedridden or whatever.

I was once run over by a drunken twat who didn't give a shit and it only
thanks to the medics that I'm here now. I'm not in a wheelchair, but it
    wrecked my life.

If you want to top yourself that's your privilege but why should total
strangers be involved in your personal pleasures?

So, in other words, you don't have a clue but you think it's OK to lambast
those who are making the effort?

FWIW, I'd much prefer to see a more constructive approach to resolving the
problems caused by people riding illegally but as long as they're kids with
no money and no vote it's not going to happen.

  10. Certainly info about gory RTA's is tittle tattled about hospitals. If
there is a complaint and the perpetrators are identified then they can
    and have been disciplined.

Not sure where this gets us.

Brunstrom had the opportunity to preclude that possibility. Those
photographs were taken for a specific purpose, he chose to use them
for a different purpose, Ive not seen any proof that that usage was
legal, at the very least that use should have been sanctioned by a
    higher authority.

This is simplistic bollocks & you know it. You 'endanger' someone every
time you leave the house. Every action has a re-action etc. I'm sorry,
if you left home 1 second later it would never have happened kind of
thing. Sliding doors would be a good (but shite girls film) point
OK, my point above is right, I understand you feel anguish about
something you feel is not your fault, but to be honest I know someone
who died because they got run down by an Ambulance on it's way to an
emergency. That is not a flippant remark BTW.

It comes down to this, you can't win whatever you do, so just enjoy
    what you have.

I have no desire to kill myself or anyone else, if I did I would use an
AK47 & really take some fuckers out.

The cemeteries are also full of people who died of old age. Does that make
getting older an offence, a foolish indulgence, or what?

  14. Of course.

In this context they are the professionals being paid to do a job but
    they are not beyond criticism.

Nor can we allow a situation to develop as in medicine when no doctor
will gainsay another and the only ultimate sanction is by a committee
of "Lord High Doctors". Look where that's got us re death rates,
infection rates, and performance tables, not to mention doctors
    remuneration.

It may well be that I am a mere layman but where there is a bad
outcome because some high-up professional has taken it upon himself to
go outside the envelope and as a result it has gone breasts uppermost
I maintain I have a right to complain.
The bike in that picture looked to have been quite new to me before
they crushed it, maybe £500-£800 worth. They got the money for it from
somewhere. I would make penalties (Fines etc) enduring together with
benefits. IE you pay 'em back as soon as any money comes in. They do
it to students Re: student loans and nobody bats an eyelid.

We have to find a way to do something about it, otherwise the scrotes
will get more brutish, and the police and the politicians will
continue to decend to their level. It's bad enough already.

It's a pathetic attempt at face-saving by a dimwitted chief constable.

Like you have no doubt that showing a photograph to a journalist means
that he will not report what he has seen?

It seems that even ex-policemen cannot restrain themselves from wanting
to cause distress to the families of the deceased. There was no need to
name the individual in this context. And your drivel overlooks the fact
that the family became victims in this.

It does however pander to a chief constable's feeling that he is a minor
deity able to dispense favours on those beneath him.

I have run ins with the giant egos of CCs before now. And usually there
has to be a moment where the said CC has to have impressed on him (or
her) that in every respect of achievement I outclass them. Once we have
that out of the way and said CC assumed the secondary role then we can
usually get on with the matter in hand.

CCs tend to think the only thing that matters in the world is the police
and that beign head of a police force makes them some sort of elite (and
untouchable) individual. Whereas in truth they have little more position
in society than the MD of a (relatively) small company.

Then any person with more than two brain cells would have made sure that
no photograph was shown which could lead to identification of an
    individual.

Of course the entire basis of the presentation is bogus. Anyone involved
in a fatal accident is just as dead, irrespective of how messy the end
results are. Hence the fatal accident I was a witness to where the
driver was completely intact but dead as a result of internal cervical
dislocation would not have been shown because it was an image of someone
who simply appeared to be sleeping. The accident I witnessed where I
thought that someone had dumped about 50Kg of raw chicken on the road
would also not be shown since it doesn't have the "shock" factor.

So Brunstrom appears to have carefully selected gory, spectacular images
in which a human being is identifiable and which show the closest
resemblance to images of decapititation, torture and other horror cominc
    monstrosities.

The intention of Brunstrom was to shock and to make a false appeal to
consequences, rather than to make a reasoned appeal based on fact. When
it swung against him he didn't like it. What a surprise.
