I've got 95% of one in bits in the shed. My first bike was an A7.

  7. Mine was a Velocette Thruxton. Wish I still had it.
Re the A95, were the last ones "trouble free" or did they still
have probs. I know some BSA twins had oil pump probs.

I had one 30 odd years ago (and some years have been odder than others).
I seem to remember most "in the know" owners fitted a roller bearing kit
to the mains. I think the issue was more to do with slop in the plain
bearings rather than just an oilpump fault. Paul.

  9. wasnt that the pre unit A7 and A10 ?
My old A10 had a bronze bush in the timing side but I thought
the unit twins had ball and rollers.
