Shakey Byrne has won the BSB championship. He's 129 points ahead now
with 4 races still to run. Woot! It couldn't have happened to a nicer
guy. If Shakey's got a fault it's that he's not arrogant enough. It'll
be very interesting to see what he does next. He definitely wants to go
world racing but there's probably not a place in MotoGP and Monstermob
may not be interested in WSB.

    1st race
    Byrne Ducati
    Reynolds Suzuki
    Rutter Ducati
    Mason Yamaha
    Richards Kawasaki

    2nd race
    Plater Honda
    Haslam Ducati

    Byrne 406
    Reynolds 277
    Rutter 243
    Plater 227
    Kagayama 214

is this the same honda factory team of last year's wsbk effort? i
randomly read somewhere that the sp-2 that colin edwards won last year
was donated to a british team with a few personnels (since edwards took
    his mechanic off to motogp).

Yes. Plater has been struggling to adapt his style to the twin and to
find settings on Dunlops for circuits that Edwards never raced on. But
it's finally coming good late in the season. The whole team moved to the
UK (they were based there anyway) but Edwards took some significant
    personnel with him to Aprilia.

Now you're asking. You'd have to go back to the RC45 at least and
    probably back to the RC30.
