    Here it is:

Since I'm living in Melbourne, apparently it's acceptable to park in
the office. Or is that the footpath? I forget...

The Jackal and Nameless Boy have been sold, and I'm told[1] that the
buyer was rather taken by the "The Jackal" stickering[2], and he's
going to replicate it once he's repaired and repainted the fairing. Oh
well, there's no accounting for taste...

Now I just need to get a new upper fairing for Minx's bike so that we
can sell it, and I'll be totally GPX250 free! :-D

Can anyone recommend a particular wrecker in Melbourne for a GPX250
    fairing? I'm new here.

Oh yeah, you'll probably want to look at this pic too:

[1] My brother-in-law sold them for me in Canberra, it just seemed
    easier.

Sometimes you can't beat http://www.findapart.com.au/, even with postage
    factored in.

Otherwise, I've dealt with Discount Motorcycle Wrecker in Coburg (9350
4417) for the Bimmer, and service was, well, OK. Can't speak for their
    rice parts.

So why did buy a pushie to park in the office? Great Aunt Samantha once
put her FZ750 in the service lift and parked it outside the lab door.
Her boss failed to see exactly the sense in doing this and told her to
get it out. So she donned hemet and jacket and rode off to not be seen
for the rest of the day.

Then again, scienticts are an odd lot....

  6. So, do you reckon you're ready for the increase in horsepower? You can
get yourself in trouble very quickly on a machine that's that much more
    powerful than you're used to...

big ('course, you'll be able to power out of trouble better than the GPX)

I still miss Sam. She had a fetish for policemen and elephants, didn't she?

I knew someone who took his FZ750 up the lift and parked it outside his
door every night, on the 15th floor of a housing commission block in
    Melbourne.

I did once take the Baby Beemer up in the service lift and park it in
    the plant room.

I reckon the mighty scooter would fit in the lifts OK, but there's
nowhere out of the way to put it in the current office.
