Maybe not more powerful, but a lot lighter. The ultimate naked bike.

    Getting bike#3 on Saturday

Fitted with a front brake and reflector it may get some road time.

Sam has (present tense) a fetish for *a* pleezeman, she married
    him!

Don't know about the elephants though...

I recommend getting one with some form of front suspension. Even the
15mm travel on mine makes a big difference to comfort.

Brunswick roads being Brunswick roads, that was a given. Picked up the
bike this morning, and it was everything the listing said. Fancy
    twist-grip gear change and all.

After the first ride I decided that the twist-grip gearchange beat the
hell out of the old lever-on-the-downtube type. Does it have the fancy
schmancy window-type gear indicator, or just the basic
    number-printed-on-the-grip?

    painted numbers.

I've just been browsing ebay for another one for me. One of my
limitations is that my bike rack really only accommodates tubular
frames, so those really fancy looking new bikes are out.

Long-range plan is to put two bikes on the back of a campervan and do a
    lap next year.

Really? I would have thought you could adapt a universal Gearsack to
    anything! ;-)
