Nylocks seem to feature heavily on the Buells up the Cat and Fiddle too.
Great bike to ride is you're an old **** like me who's not really into
revving the bollocks off motors, coz they run out of gasp at around 6 and a
half thou, but they're still a REAL hooligans machine.
    Yeah, that's a good description.
Thank **** for that, I was getting a bit worried.

    Unsurprisingly, it is bollocks.

The Buell engines are Harley Sportster lumps, but essentially
blueprinted and slightly tuned compared to Harley-built Sportster
engines. They're also a lot better balanced so you can rev them above
3000 rpm without feeling like you're being catapulted into a low orbit.

    I had a feeling :)
Sportster motors are good for bollock scratching though, but it's a poor
payback, because it's the motor that makes 'em itch on the first place.

I want a decent bike that brakes, steers and goes like ****. That
rules out anything made in merkania.

    Point taken.

I should have said anything that sounds like a tractor and is ridden
    by twats with beards.

I've given up trying to understand the costume-wearing play-acting crowd.
It's just a burden motorcyclists have to bear, that we are lumped in with
them. I've got no quarrel with beardy types who actually *ride* their
Harleys or Harley lookalikes, even those with panto outfits on, but the
fair weather bar hoppers who put on 25 miles and consider it noteworthy,
seem to be missing the entire point of having a bike.

I've got a beard and apparently I'm a pedantic twat. Two out of three

I've not got a beard, I couldn't GAF about pedantery and the thought of a
tractor ride fills me with despair, but I'm still fucked, coz I'm over 50.
