    First day on the bike to my new home at Earl's Court and I get flashed
    at 04:30 on Lower Thames Street (well, it might be Upper, I never
    remember but just before the underpass anyway).

    I was only doing about 36mph too.

    Are those City of London cameras live these days?

    The two cameras that have been there for as long as I can remember?

    The front-facer is a dud, I think, but I'd be surprised if the Gatso was
    a dummy.
