I crashed the Trophy with nothing apart from a couple of cards, a moby and
some loose change in my pockets, and I had, and I quote,

    "Fractured left clavicle
    Extra-articular fracture scapula
Fractured ribs 2, 3 and 4 left side"

    etc, etc.

The moby was in my pocket, but it was switched on. Astonishingly, nothing
    burst into flames.
I got without the Drifter a couple of months ago, and above and beyond it a
    couple of months before that.

Some "Preparation H" should sort that out.

Nah, you need a Honda Cub for that ;-)

I had the same moby on the Frankfurt run, in the tail pocket of my jacket.
Arriving the first night in Calais, it was sodden. I took it to bits and
set it on top of the radiator, and then we all went to the pub. I was
wasting my time bringing it along, because it didn't have international
    switched on at the time.
"rough"? That's character, that is. It was a bit battered, but
mechanically it was fine. It was outed as part of a fleet reduction
    exercise.

Outed? That bike wore metaphorical chaps, tight vest and a bushy
    moustache.

Irrelevant. In so far as it was my chosen mode of transport, it became the
    epitome of masculinity.

Yep, although the buttons were a bit iffy thereafter. It was a work moby,
that was replaced about 6 munce later when I got outsourced.
Didn't sound rough to me. The exhaust was cracked where the headers entered
the silencer, and it like to pop a bit on the over-run.
I want to get something light and nippy as an everyday bike, bigger than the
Z200 but a fair bit smaller (physically) than the R80RT. Something like an
    XBR500, GB500, SRX600, Bros 650 sort of thing.

Interestingly, no. I'm still doing the same work I was doing previously,
which I'm fine with, but I do seem to have ended up with the wrong
employer - about which I'm making strenuous efforts to do something.
The Drifter was stylishly bereft of a rev counter, so dunno.
The FMX? Well, it's a bit new and expensive, and the likes of the XBR is
    cheap as chips.
