Two paramedics were killed in rural Victoria today.

Police said the two male paramedics were responding to a car accident
further up the dangerous Black Spur road around 3.20pm (AEDT).

Police said their ambulance ran off the road, down an embankment and
then crashed into a tree off the Maroondah Highway, near Healesville,
    east of Melbourne.

The pair died at the scene.

Wonder if it was a bike accident they were going to??
