Bushy's anyone?

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Dave Milligan, Oct 18, 2005.

  1. Those at the BBQ at P.I. at the weekend should have had a sample of
the Bushy's Ale from the Isle of Man. I brought back a *small* amount
this year when we shipped the bikes back from Felixstowe.

I still have some and will take 20 dozen or so to Sydney for the
Sydney Motorcycle Show at Homebush over the 18 - 20 November weekend.

Bacause I can't take the beer into the show I will most probably have
an evening (Saturday) after the show closes (6pm) somewhere close to
the Olympic Stadium and put on a few beers for those interested in
coming along and talking about the 2006 and 2007 Isle of Man TT Tours.

Soon as I have a venue I'll let you know.

    Cheers.

    Kind regards
    Dave Milligan

You follow any more unsuspecting BMW riders in your big yellow van while
they were having fun sliding out minding their own business on dirt roads?

    recycling day.

  5. It's a bit of a dilemma, Geoff. I've still only got one kind of half working
    but I think it's stretched!

Paging Pisshead Pete to the front bar. We need T shirts, stubbie holders,
    stickers and G strings

  9. I think Slej said he had the stickers covered, Goaty's lost the G-strings
and I'm still waiting on the t-shirt dude to get back to me with a stubby
    holder price.

    on Tuesday.
I was _gunna_ do it at least two new bikes ago...

Slackarse Postman Pat (I could still do with a stubby holder and some
    stickers...and a coupla T shirts and a windcheater...)

No, I already have 97 deposits from individuals and 76 from groups. If
you want some reasonable accommodation other than camping then the
sooner the better. I only have 29 beds still available out of 208 so
unless I can find more, that will be all I can get. Naturally I will
be looking again next year, but I think I have exhausted the supply.

All the Hotels have been booked out for 18 months and the Homestay
B&Bs are booked on a year to year basis so were all booked at the end
of this years TT, and will be again after the TT in 2006.

This is unfortunate because my expectation is that I will be shipping
400 bikes from Aus & NZ to the UK in 2007 for the TT.

I am in the process of finding a paddock or two and having the locals
set up a camp site exclusively for Aussies & Kiwis somewhere near Port
Erin. Hopefully with temporary showers & toilets and a food & beer
(Bushy's naturally) tent. Govt permission is required and this could
    present probs.

    Kind regards

For the 2007 bash (100th anniversary of the TT) there will also be the
Aus.Moto Far North contingent camped on Glenlough just up from Union
Mills - not plush but what the hell!
Sounds like I better get some bookings made.

Just get on a sodding plane or let Mr. Milligan chuck you in the
container with the bikes.... and a slab or several....
