I don't know where you get your quotes from, but they're far from the truth.
What "business schools" have "R&D" departments?

IIRC, the above was actually said to a newly employed codebreaker during WWII
after he devised a method of cracking German codes encrypted with Enigma
machines, a task which had defied experienced cryptanalysts.
