buying a motorbike in brisbane

I am student and would like to buy a motorbike which will help to get
to uni and places around in brisbane. I am looking for bikes between
2000 - 3000 $.

Rawal, I just went through the same process. I found these
usefull (in no particular order):

Bikesales seems to have been written by some bike-ignorant tools
who though it would be clever to cut/paste all the code for
carsales.com.au over, replace all instances of "car" with "bike",
and change the colour scheme. It has, for example, engine capacity
breaks at 100,200,300cc, and other sillyness, but I did find my
bike in there, so it's not all bad.
