    In uk.rec.motorcycles, Christofire belched forth and ejected the
    following:
    I've been out of London for the last few days and on my way to "work"
    this morning, gave it a handful past a car on a nice corner and the back
    went sideways.

    That's when I saw the "20mph - Gravel" signs.

    After the event I wondered about it and decided pretty much that - "if
    it's there long enough to be seen in those hot conditions it's probably
    not water". However, after the event is a bit late.
