So... a couple of months ago, the seemingly eternal Byrnes Motorcycles at
Nowra became a Nowra City Motorcycles showroom with new signage, a
complete refit and very nice it looked too.

Then yesterday it all burned down, along with the adjoining Aquatique Core
    Store.

    On Mar 8, 9:34 am,
It would've looked suspicious if it had burned down with a name like
    "Byrnes".

If it's a total loss, there goes a shedload of odd and old parts for
Suzis, Kawas and BMWs though. That's *always* a sad day for any brand of
    machine.

If only they'd named it "Extinguishes..."

Recently refitted... followed by fire... That reminds me -- I must
get into my roof space and check the insulation!

Especially if those Sri Lankans installed it using their children

I'd have thought if you filled between the joists with a few hundred
children, they'd come straight through the Gyprock in pretty short order.

  10. Nah, you would only need one joint per each child

reference to a Current Affair show or whichever, which showed Sri Lankan or
Paki insulation installers, using their children to pass the batts through a
    hole in the roof

I did Google "news sri lanka insulation children" but all I got was a
load of stuff about child soldiers. Perhaps the child roof-insulators
are from the army engineer school. ;-)
