Does anyone know if there is any gas along CA-36 from Red Bluff to
US-101? It looks to be about 140 miles, and the "towns" it passes
throuigh don't look like much. I want to do this ride by 140 miles on
a tank is pushing it for e.
Thanks for the info...by the way, I'm going to try this on Thursday
(07/05) so time is of the essence!

There's gas in Dinsmore, at the store there.

No kidding. It's supposed to be a hot one come Friday. Last year when I
rode it it was around 95-100 sometime around 2pm. There were a lot of sport
bikes parked in the shade of the trees. Some hiding around the hamburger
    joint in Mad River too.

  4. I've never ridden that road, but I'd suggest packing some extra
    gas...'jjust in case'!

Have a safe & lovely ride.
