I have seen several mid-60's CA77 305 Dreams with a chrome trim around
the front part of the fender-similar to a Harley Softail fron fende.
Was this an optional, after-market piece or was it offered on some
original CA77s? I'm trying to restore my '68 CA77 and I want to be
    correct. Thanks.

Here is the photo that depicts the front trim I'm referring to: http://

    correctly)!

Good point Which brings up my next question: is there a group or
source I need to contact in order to ensure exactly what *is* a
"correct" restoration for the Honda Dream? In the auto world, there
are very specific, published requirements for "correct" restorations.
Who or what group provides these standards in the motorcycle world?
