  4. <VBG> Did you find it a bit taxing on your highly educated brain
    cells?

This part of the commentary is causing flashbacks to other famous ukrm 4
    wheeled journeys.

Strangely enough I bought one like that especially for the Harley riding
part of last year's Ultimate Biker competition and not one of the Harley
types thought it gay, much to my chagrin as that was the look I was aiming
for. In fact they liked it. Which, I think, proves that it *is* gay.

    It wasn't quite that often.

You'd have had to been on the original Cane-at-the-wheel trip to
    Cadwell to understand my consternation.

And Tail-lift-van Mission Part Deux is now accomplished as the R65LS
    is now in Hove.

  8. Heh! I was thinking of posting similar... Maybe it's the
photographer's choice of locations, but at first glance there seems to be
a lack of commitment. (Just an observation Cane; if you could get past
darsy then you obviously weren't the slowest one on the track! :)
    More Via^H^H^Hbeans!

My memory of that trip is somewhat patchy.

If he did he was very polite.
That particular trip did come up in conversation.

  12. Looking at the photos again I realised that the photog. didn't
have much of a clue. The one of Cane going straight past has no suggestion
at all of speed. The twat's taken them all at 1/10000" and F64 -- no
motion blurring, almost infinite depth of focus... They may look pretty
but there's no art to them. I could do better meself...

Couldn't be arsed to wait long enough in the queue to see mine and not
really interested enough to buy all 30 sight unseen.

As a contrast however I just got access to a few of me at the last hill
climb. A little grainy but more atmospheric I think. It really is that
dark under the trees and that's what I call a real hairpin.
