firstly, damn that's going to be an early start, as check-in finishes
    at 8:20am.

secondly, in an email from the organisers:

"PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NO LONGER ALLOWING THE USE OF HIRE BIKES ON OUR
DAY OTHER THAN OUR OWN. PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW."

how on earth would they know?

Yep, Cadwell is always an overnighter for me.
http://www.keddingtonhouse.co.uk/ is about 5 mins from the circuit
on the south side (circuit side) of Louth and is only £30 a room
including a good breakfast of your choice.

    interesting.

Cane, Simian - are you interested in this, or would you prefer to stay
over at mine and have a very very early start?

No it's not hired - I've customised it. Mr Moped is my real name. And
he's my brother. And him too.

I will probably play the pikey hill climber card and spend a cosy night
in the back of the Octavia estate parked in the paddock.

OK - I'd emailed you and Cane about booking up a travelodge 30 miles
this side of Cadwell, for 26 quid a room - I'll assume you're OK with
this and book 3 rooms for us on the 15th.

I'll knock off work at lunchtime on the Thursday, and collect the van
    - I'd like to head off from my place around 4-5pm or so, so if you
could get to mine for mid-afternoon that'd be cool, and we'll pick up
    Cane on the way.
